Introductions are the lifeblood of any businessman or company executive. This trickles down to small- and medium-business owners, entrepreneurs, home-based businesses, as well as to non-profit organizations, conglomerates and multinational companies. Introductions are not protocol bound, but are part of the corporate culture or a civilized approach of representing oneself.
One tool of the introduction is the business card. For a long time, business cards have been the used to bring your contact’s identity with you, and for you to make sure that your contact does remember you. From standard all-text calling cards which were common until the end of the 20th century, we are now in that state when business cards are truly unique and personal: you can design your own, and print it at home on using your computer and printer.
